ABOUT INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
What is Individual Therapy?
Individual therapy, also known as one-on-one therapy, is a form of psychotherapy where a person works directly with a trained therapist to address personal issues. This type of therapy aims to help individuals explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a safe, confidential setting. The therapist works collaboratively with the individual to set goals, identify patterns of thinking or behavior, and develop coping strategies. Sessions are usually scheduled weekly or biweekly and can vary in length, typically ranging from 45 minutes to an hour.
Virtual therapy
We offer virtual therapy to increase access to care for individuals who may find it difficult to come to our offices or prefer the comfort of their home for therapy sessions. Therapy sessions are conducted via a HIPAA-compliant telemental health platform to ensure confidentiality.
